Present day Cowley. Amazingly a section of GWR wrought iron fencing is still to be found.

A former Great Western Railway cast iron notice located adjacent to allotments. Oddly enough there was no railway here, so the only explanation we can come up with is that this was land bought by the GWR for their intended link from High Street to Vine Street.
